Ultimate Recycling Day 2
I'm teaching at Columbus Academy again this week. The class is called Ultimate Recycling.
We are going to be learning about recycling and doing all kinds of recycled projects. I ran out of time last night to post pictures from Monday, so I'm posting for both days.
Monday
In the morning we learned about recycling and did posters about our carbon foot print.
In the afternoon everyone created a game out of recyclables. I was surprised how this activity took the entire afternoon, because everyone got really involved in planning and creating their game. Then they couldn't wait to try the games!

Tuesday
In
the morning we made planters out of milk cartons and then planted
sunflower seeds in them. Then we created baskets out of milk jugs and
made mosaics out of plastic tops.
In the afternoon we created finger knitting looms and then made finger knitting out of old t-shirts and yarn.
